Dumpster diving was a mild success we found lots of bottles but tinmouth recyclers are good at removing the tops. We will take another trip out there this week after more bottles show up. I’m also working on a sealing method that doesn’t need the caps.
I filled the bottles we had yesterday and today they are 99% frozen with only a little bit of really concentrated salt solution left unfrozen. A couple of really cold nights should finish it off.
Our wood chip pile is up to 85-90 degrees even when its below zero outside. There is a post coming down the pipe line about our wood pile composting heat production experiment.
